Secured funding to open the first Boys & Girls Club in Cheektowaga.
Delivered funding for Cheektowaga, Depew, and Sloan to continue beloved community programming, such as the Cheektowaga Polish-American Arts Festival, Independence Day celebrations, Depew Founder’s Day, and the Sloan Summer Concert Series.
Secured hundreds of thousands for nonprofit services for low-income families, including Response to Love Center, Matthew’s Table Community Dinners, and the Tri-Community Food Pantry.
Enhancing Parks and Public Amenities
Secured $1 million toward the construction of a potential, 12-mile bike trail connecting Sloan to Town Line.
Secured funding to renovate Firefighter’s Park in Lancaster.
Secured $125,000 for Hennepin Park improvements with new sidewalks, crosswalks, signage, and stairs.
Acquired funding for public art, bringing a mural to the Village of Lancaster and statue to Cheektowaga Town Park.
Secured funding to install splash pads in Lancaster and Sloan and bring new recreation courts to Town Park in Cheektowaga and Griffith Park in Sloan.
Obtained funding to maintain the Lancaster Public Library and Lancaster Historical Society, and to extend the library operating hours through Sundays.
Maintaining Infrastructure
Secured tens of millions to maintain sewer pipes and reduce runoff into local waterways.
Jointly secured $2 million to repair a sewer pump in Town Park and protect homes from a potential sewage backup.
Successfully advocated for additional state funding for local roads, bridges, and sidewalks.
Delivered $250,000 for the towns of Cheektowaga and Lancaster to install backup power sources to ensure traffic signals continue operating during power outages.

Secured funding for the first ADA-compliant playground in the community, located in Stiglmeier Park.
Secured funding to ensure the Cheektowaga Boys and Girls Club facilities are accessible to youth with physical challenges.
Secured $100,000 to construct disability-accessible restrooms in Sloan’s Griffith Park.
Secured $25,000 for the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Program to ensure people with visual impairments have access to news and media.
Secured $10,000 for Danceability to help provide recreation programs for individuals with disabilities.
Secured funding for Fantastic Friends of WNY, a nonprofit, all-volunteer social organization for individuals of all ages with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Helped secure funding to make Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve trails and facilities accessible for people with special needs.
